Saturday evening was a celebration like none other. Les Paul came to town to celebrate his 93rd birthday and to kick off the Les Paul “House of Sound” exhibit at Discovery World. If there were any doubt about his legendary status, he put that to rest while performing an amazing 2 1/2 hour show at the Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee. He transported some wonderful talent from New York, but it was Les, his jokes and stories that made the night memorable. Dr. Klickner and I tried to convince Les to have the after-show party at his place, but he didn’t think he could do it with so many friends in attendance. HaHa….. Happy Birthday, Les!
